The N.I.S.B.T.C was formed in 1947 only 12 years after the breed was recognised by the Kennel Club in 1935. It is the only Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club in this part of Ireland which comes under the jurisdicton of the kennel Club in England The club was formed by a few stafford enthusiasts and has gone on from strength to strength making it at this present time one of the largest breed clubs in the UK. We can also lay claim to being the oldest Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed club in the whole of Ireland |
