NORTHERN IRELAND

STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER CLUB

April CH Show 2007

Northern Ireland Staffordshire Bull Terrier Show 2007 What a great demonstration of respect to one of our oldest and one of the six original clubs, to be compliment with a record entry of 193 dogs and bitches. A show which turned out to be a most momentous and memorable event. A great atmosphere prevailed throughout of the whole show with very few early leavers To my surprise and certainly a first for me - not one bad mouth evident, although, some could have been cleaner. Unfortunately the lack of muscular fitness along with incorrect movement cost placings. I found lack of type, over angulated at the rear-end becoming evident which requires consideration for the future breeding plans. However, there were many excellent specimens on view which augurs well for the future of our breed

Minor Puppy Dog

1st Coates : Bellerophon Bevin Boy, Dark brindle, most promising prospect, wonderfully balanced with outanding head properties. Hopefully he develops width to square off his fore-hand. Moved and handled well. B.P.I.S
